Pharmacological Action
It can improve the coagulation of blood cells in bulbous conjunctival vessels and the decreased resistance of capillaries caused by lack of vitamin C in guinea pigs (enhance the effect of vitamin C); But it has also been reported to reduce coagulation of horse blood cells. It prolongs the survival time of rats when fed with Thrombogenic feed or atherogenic feed. It can stimulate the growth rate of vitamin C deficient guinea pigs. It can enhance the content of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in adrenal gland, spleen and white blood cells of guinea pig.
Before adding vesicular stomatitis virus, mouse fibrocytes were incubated in 200μg/ml of this product, which protected the cells from the virus for about 24 hours. Pretreating HeLa cells with this product can prevent influenza virus infection. The antiviral activity of this product can be eliminated by hyaluronidase.
Prevent frostbite and inhibit the aldehyde reductase in the lens of rats.
Research shows that Hesperidin has anti-oxidation, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and anti-tumor effects.
Product Function
Hesperidin is a vitamins bulk drug from citrus. It decreases brittleness of capillary vessel, increases vascular permeability and strengthen capillary vessel resistance and enhances Vitamin C. The research also shows that Hesperidin has the function of anti-inflammatory, antivirus, and prevent cold injury as while as inhibit lens aldehyde reductase, it is also a raw material for the synthesis of Diosmin.
